How we help | Lessons

  • Online streamed lessons in all of the main topics your children will need
  • Review whenever and as many times as you like
  • If there was something your child didn’t understand (but didn’t like to ask), simply review the topic by taking one of the lessons (as many times as is needed)
  • Great for revising subjects before exams
  • Our lessons follow the requirements laid out by the National Curriculum in English and maths

The lessons which we provide cover all of the main topic areas in Maths and English as outlined for each school year by the National Curriculum. Students can choose to view lessons whenever they want, as many times as they wish. If there was something they didn’t follow in school that day, maybe....it’s simply a question of choosing that topic and watching the streamed video lesson on the computer. And at the end of the lesson, they can choose to answer a few questions to make sure that they have understood the topic. If they are still unsure, all they have to do is call the Network Teachers (a freephone number) and get one-to-one teaching from a qualified professional to help them over their difficulty. And don’t forget, the Network Teachers can be used as many times as is wanted or needed.

The other way in which MOT directs students to lessons is when our assessments or a practice or revision exercise has shown that the student needs some extra help. Our Adaptive Learning System will identify topic areas which are causing difficulties, and will highlight the specific lesson to be viewed which will teach the student that topic. Again, a short quiz after the lesson has been viewed will verify that the lesson has been successfully understood – and if it hasn’t, we will recommend a call to the Network Teachers.
